In 2007, a group of local family-owned dairy farms assembled with the common goal of providing the Southeast with the highest quality milk available in the American Market. It is because of these farmers daring to make a difference that Cobblestone has been able to pave the way to a better future.
About Cobblestone Milk Cooperative
In 2007, a group of local family-owned dairy farmers congregated with the idea of creating a dairy cooperative that would serve the Southeastern region with the highest quality milk available in the American Market. Today, Cobblestone Milk Cooperative is headquartered in Chatham, VA and has grown substantially from its original nine dairy farmers. You will find members all across the region in states such as Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia recording more than 25,000 cows across the cooperative. These members have unparalleled dedication to producing the best quality products. It is because of this dedication that Cobblestone is able to foster a progressive atmosphere that ensures all its members maintain leading processes and premier quality. We at Cobblestone believe that by focusing on quality with attention to detail we are able to provide a healthy and sustainable environment for our animals, neighbors, and customers; further paving the way to a better future.

Cobblestone operates under the 'FARM' program which constitutes strict quality guidelines meaning that membership with Cobblestone comes with high standards. Membership Awards
Cobblestone Milk Cooperative annually recognizes and awards the member with the best quality milk standards for the year. This award is obtained by checking all the quality metric boxes paired with a dedication to the growth and betterment of the cooperative throughout the year.

Members also have the opportunity to be in the running for a President's Award. This award can be obtained when a member generates a progressive proposition and develops a new implementation or design that betters Cobblestone Milk Cooperative overall.
